A mixed bag for the Steelers, and a C+ to match.

Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Steelers spent pick 178 on Nathaniel Watson, a name the board had a full 34 spots lower. For now it grades a C+, with the swing picks left to settle the rest.

They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. With quarterback, safety and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on offensive lineman is the choice that costs them. Sainristil falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

Interior defensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Call it incomplete, and check back in a couple of seasons.
