Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Bears came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close. The sum of the weekend is a deserved A-.

Reaching for Johnson left real value on the table behind him. The Legette steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.

Bottom line, they did the job about as well as it can be done.
