The Bears fleeced the room on the phones and earned a B.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Bears did exactly that with Cooper Mays in the 233rd pick.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. They will regret leaving cornerback for another day if the season turns on it.

That is a running back worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The Bears clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but cornerback.
