The 49ers did not so much draft Caedan Wallace as overpay for him, 37 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend.

Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Barrett value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
