There is a lot to like until you notice edge rusher is still a hole. The Eagles never got to the one that mattered most.

The Sainristil pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.

They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
