The Bears turned the phones into found money: A-.

Whoever sat across the table from the Bears should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend.

They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it. The Bears indulged a want in DeJean while a need in interior defensive lineman, cornerback and other spots stayed open.

The Benson value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. Nick Bosa gives the group a proven body among the projects.

Bottom line, with Xavier Worthy leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
