The Colts let Rosemy-Jacksaint fall into their laps, and walked away with a B. Thirty-one other rooms let Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint slide, and the Colts were the ones holding the card at Round 7, Pick 14. Highway robbery. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.
Lee has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want.
Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
Pick Analysis
Pick15
Rnd1
Terrion Arnold
In pick No. 15 they get a lockdown presence outside. Need was not the driver here.
Pick57
Rnd2
Xavier Worthy
No drama and no debate, Xavier Worthy went about where he belonged in Round 2, Pick 25. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick82
Rnd3
Renardo Green
They did well to land Renardo Green in No. 82, just ahead of his grade. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick92
Rnd3
Zak Zinter
A premium they did not need to pay, Zak Zinter a notch or two before his time. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick117
Rnd4
Theo Johnson
They paid sticker price for Theo Johnson in the 117th pick, and that is fine. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick125
Rnd4
Mohamed Kamara
Mohamed Kamara in slot 125 is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick151
Rnd5
Walter Rouse
The board had cheaper options than Walter Rouse at the 151st overall pick, and it noticed. The roster fit checks out.
Pick191
Rnd6
Logan Lee
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Logan Lee. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick234
Rnd7
Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint
They will replay Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint at the Round 7 slot for years; that is how good the value is. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
