You can hear the double-takes from here. The Bears took Zion Logue at the 232nd overall pick, roughly 39 spots before his name belonged. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D.

Everything downstream of Caleb Williams depends on Caleb Williams, and the building knows it. Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. That running back hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

They banked enough surplus on Prather to cover a lot of smaller sins.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, running back very much included.
