The Browns spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Carson Beck, the No. 111 name on the board, in the 145th overall pick.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The cost of the Alexander reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

So much rides on Kenyon Sadiq that the real verdict is a season or two away.
