The Seahawks found their guy under center in Nix: F.

Boards are made to be trusted, and the Seahawks shredded theirs for Willie Lampkin. He came off 100 spots early, and the room will hear about it. The board sounded every alarm, and the F is the fallout.

Everything downstream of Bo Nix depends on Bo Nix, and the building knows it. Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere.

The Seahawks indulged a want in Smith while a need in interior defensive lineman stayed open. A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want.

On value alone, McGlothern makes the weekend a net positive. It is a win-now wager, and the future is the stake.

There is no soft landing here; this class has to massively overperform just to matter.
