When a board-topper like Kurtis Rourke slides to the 251st pick, you do not overthink it, and the Colts did not.

With wide receiver and interior defensive lineman unsolved, spending premium capital on safety is the choice that costs them. That wide receiver hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Job largely done: quarterback settled and 6 of 8 of the wish list covered.
