The Bills let Simpson fall into their laps, and walked away with a B-.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Bills were there to profit. Jaylin Simpson, the No. 137 name on the board, should have been long gone before slot 167. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

The Bortolini reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with linebacker chief among the fixes.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
