A sensible, unshowy class lands the Saints a B-.

The Saints did not so much draft Dayon Hayes as overpay for him, 61 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

The Huzzie pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped tight end, which is a strange place to end up. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but tight end.
