The steal of the weekend belongs to the Packers and White III: B-.

You could see the war room lean forward. Ricky White III at No. 250 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. Reaching for Elzinga left real value on the table behind him. On the needs board they went 4 of 8, with cornerback the one that mattered most.

The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.

Pick Analysis
Pick23 Rnd1 Josh Conerly Jr.
They liked Josh Conerly Jr. enough to skip the value, taking him in the Round 1 slot. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick54 Rnd2 Trey Amos
Trey Amos in slot 54 lands just on the right side of the ledger. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick87 Rnd3 Jared Wilson
Jared Wilson in No. 87 is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick124 Rnd4 Malachi Moore
They paid up for Malachi Moore at the 124th pick when waiting would have done the job. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick159 Rnd5 Nick Nash
Nick Nash in pick 159 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick198 Rnd6 Luke Elzinga
A premium they did not need to pay, Luke Elzinga a notch or two before his time. Insurance at a position that did not really ask for it.
Pick237 Rnd7 Corey Kiner
They took Corey Kiner at par in the 237th overall pick, which is nothing to complain about. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick250 Rnd7 Ricky White III
Somehow Ricky White III was still sitting there in Round 7, Pick 34, and they pounced on premier wide receiver value. The roster fit checks out.
