The Chiefs torched the value chart for Jamaree Caldwell, taking him 34 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted.

For all the activity, tight end went untouched, which is hard to explain. Parrish falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
