A weekend that raised as many questions as it answered. The Bengals get a C+.

Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Bengals spent pick 49 on Ashton Gillotte, a name the board had a full 47 spots lower.

The Sampson pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. The Gillotte pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with cornerback, tight end and other spots still on the board. The cornerback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.
