The Patriots did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and LaNorris Sellers fell into the Round 6 slot. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball. The phones were busy but the ledger stayed level.
