A costly weekend of dealing drags the Giants to a D. It is the swing that defines the weekend: Ray Davis in No. 105, a good 48 spots before the room expected him. Too much went sideways, and the D is the honest tally.
They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain. That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.
Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even.
