You build a draft on nights like this. Ryan Fitzgerald had no business being available in Round 7, Pick 30, and the Giants did the only sane thing and turned in the card. Fine in stretches, shaky in others: a C.

If Dart pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. The trades bled value they could not afford to lose.

They will regret leaving wide receiver for another day if the season turns on it.

Call it incomplete, and check back in a couple of seasons.
