Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Colts spent Round 5, Pick 8 on Edefuan Ulofoshio, a name the board had a full 92 spots lower.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. It is not that DeJean is a bad player; it is that the Colts had louder needs to answer first. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.
