The Cowboys lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again.

The Cowboys indulged a want in Solomon while a need in quarterback and tight end stayed open. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. The Gargiulo pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

That Jackson pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and quarterback is still a hole.
