Draft Grade — Packers
Overall

FutureB-
The Packers let Neal fall into their laps, and walked away with a C+. This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Devin Neal, the No. 84 name on the board, stolen at the 171st pick. It nets out a thoroughly average C+.
The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain.
If Nic Scourton and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
Pick Analysis
Pick23
Rnd1
Nic Scourton
In pick No. 23 they get juice off the edge at fair value. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick54
Rnd2
Elic Ayomanor
Elic Ayomanor at No. 54 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick87
Rnd3
Ozzy Trapilo
Ozzy Trapilo in pick 87 is fair value, right on his grade. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick108
Rnd4
Denzel Burke
Somehow Denzel Burke was still sitting there in the 108th overall pick, and they pounced on premier cornerback value. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick123
Rnd4
Luke Kandra
Luke Kandra slipping to the Round 4 slot is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick160
Rnd5
Jake Majors
You do not let an offensive lineman like Jake Majors reach slot 160 and blink. They did not. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick171
Rnd5
Devin Neal
A top-tier running back at a bargain, Devin Neal in Round 5, Pick 32, plain and simple. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
