The Patriots let Worthy fall into their laps, and walked away with a A-.

You build a draft on nights like this. Xavier Worthy had no business being available in Round 3, Pick 4, and the Patriots did the only sane thing and turned in the card. This is how you run a draft, and the A- reflects it.

For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain. Kamren Curl gives the group a proven body among the projects. They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made.

The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster.

In the end it comes back to Cooper DeJean, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
