Draft Grade — Dolphins
Overall B
ValueB- NeedB- TradesA+ FutureB-
The Dolphins let Stowers fall and pounced. Final grade: B.

Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Dolphins came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. That is a tight end worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. They are betting Scott proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.

Pick Analysis
Pick12 Rnd1 Olaivavega Ioane
In slot 12 they get a plug-and-play piece up front, reach and all. A real need, handled.
Pick30 Rnd1 Sonny Styles
Nice patience on Sonny Styles, who had no business lasting to the 30th pick. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick43 Rnd2 Keionte Scott
A big swing on Keionte Scott at Round 2, Pick 11, well ahead of any board in the building. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Pick75 Rnd3 Eli Stowers
Eli Stowers at No. 75 is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick87 Rnd3 Mike Washington Jr.
The board had Mike Washington Jr. higher than the 87th overall pick, and the running back fell to them anyway. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick90 Rnd3 Malachi Fields
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Malachi Fields in the Round 3 slot. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick94 Rnd3 Brenen Thompson
No edge and no loss on Brenen Thompson in slot 94; it is a wash and a sensible one. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick130 Rnd4 Isaiah World
A conviction pick on Isaiah World at No. 130 that the board grades a round light. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick151 Rnd5 CJ Daniels
They let CJ Daniels come to them and pounced at the 151st overall pick. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick227 Rnd7 Thaddeus Dixon
Thaddeus Dixon at the Round 7 slot is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. Depth on depth, at a spot that was hardly crying out.
Pick238 Rnd7 Aiden Fisher
They read the board right and Aiden Fisher was the payoff at pick 238. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
