The steal of the weekend belongs to the Giants and McKinney: B+. Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Giants came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close. They moved the roster forward and banked a B+ for it.
The McKinney value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.
The Giants paired the rookies with proven help, Olumuyiwa Fashanu leading the way. Job largely done: interior defensive lineman settled and 7 of 9 of the wish list covered.
A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
