Draft Grade — Rams
Overall B+
ValueC+ NeedB TradesA+ FutureB+
The Rams turned the phones into found money: B+.

Whoever sat across the table from the Rams should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend.

They banked enough surplus on Jackson to cover a lot of smaller sins. They are betting Shough proves the room right and everyone else wrong. Leaving safety unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.

Pick Analysis
Pick9 Rnd1 Tyler Warren
In No. 9 they get a seam-stretching tight end. A real need, handled.
Pick65 Rnd3 Zy Alexander
Zy Alexander at pick 65 nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
Pick90 Rnd3 Savion Williams
A conviction pick on Savion Williams at pick No. 90 that the board grades a round light. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick100 Rnd3 Joshua Farmer
A real head-scratcher, Joshua Farmer in slot 100 is miles ahead of his ranking. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick111 Rnd4 Donovan Jackson
They barely believed it either: Donovan Jackson still on the board at Round 4, Pick 10. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick126 Rnd4 Tyler Shough
They reached into another round for Tyler Shough, and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick192 Rnd6 CJ West
A big swing on CJ West at the 192nd pick, well ahead of any board in the building. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick203 Rnd6 Jack Kiser
No edge and no loss on Jack Kiser in the 203rd overall pick; it is a wash and a sensible one. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick204 Rnd6 Cobee Bryant
Cobee Bryant in the 204th pick should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. A want more than a need, though you can never have too many.
