The Giants answered their biggest question with Ward. Grade: B.

The board owed the Giants one, and it paid up: Smael Mondon Jr., the No. 106 name on the board, sitting there at the Round 7 slot like a gift left on the doorstep.

Cam Ward gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. They will regret leaving offensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.

They will need Bryant to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. Job largely done: interior defensive lineman settled and 6 of 9 of the wish list covered.

Good work on the whole, with offensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
