Grand theft in the 226th pick: the Giants steal Dart and grade out a D.

Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Jaxson Dart got past him. The Giants do not have to explain a thing at Round 7, Pick 12. Hard to defend, and the D reflects that.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own. They went 6 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.
