The Giants worked the phones like thieves and earned a B+. There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Giants started one anyway for Fadil Diggs, 67 picks ahead of schedule. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B+.
That is a running back worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The phones were where this weekend was really won. It is not that Campbell is a bad player; it is that the Giants had louder needs to answer first.
That tight end hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.
