Start where it matters. The Giants took Cam Ward to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. No fireworks, but a solid B-.

The cost of the Powell-Ryland reach is exactly the players who went right after him. Landing McMillan that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
