When the story of this class is written, it opens with Jalen Travis at the Round 7 slot, a reach of 47 spots that the board flatly disagrees with.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. That wide receiver hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. However the rest shakes out, Loveland at that price is a win they earned.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with interior defensive lineman chief among the fixes.

The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
