The Giants bled value on every deal, hence the D+. The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Giants reached some 56 spots for Donovan Smith, and value like that does not grow back.
The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. The Starks steal is the beam this whole class leans on.
Interior defensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster.
In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
