The Giants lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again.

Loveland falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. Leaving safety unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
