The Giants let Allar fall into their laps, and walked away with a D+. The Giants lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again.
A whole weekend of picks and safety is somehow still a want. Allar falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. Reaching for Savaiinaea left real value on the table behind him.
Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.
