The phones were a trap the Seahawks kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D is the result.

Bo Nix is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. That is a safety worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

The Luke Fortner deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.

A rough weekend that leaves the roster with more questions than answers.
