Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Lions were there to profit. Sheridan Jones, the No. 219 name on the board, should have been long gone before the 249th overall pick. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Nugent has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
