Draft Grade — Seahawks
Overall B
ValueB- NeedB TradesA+ FutureD
Nobody dealt better than the Seahawks this weekend: B.

The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Seahawks reached some 52 spots for Nadame Tucker, and value like that does not grow back.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. It is not that Davis is a bad player; it is that the Seahawks had louder needs to answer first. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

On value alone, Slaughter makes the weekend a net positive.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.

Pick Analysis
Pick32 Rnd1 Brandon Cisse
In pick 32 they get a press-man option on the boundary at fair value.
Pick64 Rnd2 Elijah Sarratt
The board had Elijah Sarratt higher than the 64th overall pick, and the wide receiver fell to them anyway. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick80 Rnd3 Jake Slaughter
Steal is underselling it; Jake Slaughter at pick No. 80 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick96 Rnd3 Tacario Davis
Hard to square with the roster. With positions of obvious need still on the board, Tacario Davis adds a cornerback and leaves quarterback, running back and other spots untouched.
Pick115 Rnd4 Nadame Tucker
They reached into another round for Nadame Tucker, and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick152 Rnd5 Kyle Louis
Kyle Louis in slot 152 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
