The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Patriots watched Tez Johnson slide 44 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. They are betting Diggs proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
