Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The Texans never addressed edge rusher, and it is the kind of gap that lingers.

Cooper at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made.

The Trent Brown deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
