The Bears finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a D.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The Bears shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill. Put together, it is a D.

The whole projection now runs through Drake Maye; hit there and everything else looks smarter. They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

If Powers-Johnson pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. Landing James that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even.
