The rest of the league had time to spare on Barryn Sorrell; the Chargers did not wait, grabbing him 131 spots ahead at the Round 6 slot.

However the rest shakes out, Edwards at that price is a win they earned. They will regret leaving cornerback for another day if the season turns on it.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the cornerback spot they never got to.
