The Packers looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Hayden Conner at slot 198 regardless, 69 picks early.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. They banked enough surplus on Hairston to cover a lot of smaller sins. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
