Larceny in Round 6, Pick 28 lands the Packers a B, Smith-Wade and all. Somebody in slot 203 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Packers sat still while Chau Smith-Wade, the No. 162 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. More right than wrong, and a B to match.
The cost of the Lindberg reach is exactly the players who went right after him. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. With quarterback, wide receiver and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on safety is the choice that costs them.
Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
