The tape said wait; the Packers did not. Ethan Onianwa went at the 236th overall pick, a good 81 picks before the board was ready.

That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The Neal pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.
