The Lions worked the phones like thieves and earned a B.

There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Lions started one anyway for Jamaree Caldwell, 73 picks ahead of schedule. No fireworks, but a solid B.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. Leaving cornerback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

That is a linebacker worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
