The Seth McLaughlin pick is the one that will follow the Bears into the fall. They took him 64 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so.

Landing Sanders that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
