A sensible, unshowy class lands the Steelers a B+.

You can draft well and still miss the point. The Steelers did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to edge rusher, which was the need that mattered most. More right than wrong, and a B+ to match.

The Woodson pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. The Hancock pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. The trade work was a quiet net positive.

Job largely done: quarterback settled and 5 of 9 of the wish list covered.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
