The Eagles got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D-. Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Eagles spent the 179th pick on Dominic Zvada, a name most had 88 spots down the list. The process wobbled, and the D- is where it lands.
The Cisse value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere.
That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. On the needs board they went 8 of 9, with cornerback the one that mattered most.
In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
