The Eagles let Clark fall and pounced. Final grade: D+. Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Eagles were there to profit. Bud Clark, the No. 103 name on the board, should have been long gone before Round 7, Pick 39. A D+ that will need time and luck to look better.
The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.
They went 9 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. They trusted the board more than the depth chart.
