Draft Grade — Packers
Overall B-
ValueC NeedB TradesB- FutureB-
No fireworks, just a tidy B- for the Packers.

There is conviction, and then there is this. The Packers took Jeremy Moussa a full 210 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped tight end, which is a strange place to end up. They banked enough surplus on Schrader to cover a lot of smaller sins.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but tight end.

Pick Analysis
Pick25 Rnd1 Kamari Lassiter
In pick 25 they get an island corner. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick41 Rnd2 Xavier Worthy
A market-rate wide receiver, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Xavier Worthy. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick57 Rnd2 Kingsley Suamataia
A straight-up fair deal on Kingsley Suamataia at slot 57, value and slot in agreement. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick88 Rnd3 Marist Liufau
No edge and no loss on Marist Liufau in pick No. 88; it is a wash and a sensible one. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick92 Rnd3 Audric Estime
A reach on Audric Estime in Round 3, Pick 29; the board had better options right there. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick125 Rnd4 James Williams
By-the-book stuff, James Williams at the 125th pick squarely in line with his ranking. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick135 Rnd4 Darius Robinson
Darius Robinson at slot 135 is the kind of overdraft that needs everything to break right. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick203 Rnd6 Matthew Jones
Matthew Jones at pick No. 203 is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick217 Rnd6 Willie Lampkin
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Willie Lampkin. The roster fit checks out.
Pick219 Rnd6 Jeremy Moussa
Jeremy Moussa in Round 6, Pick 44 is a bet on their own eyes over everyone else's grade. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick246 Rnd7 Cody Schrader
Cody Schrader at pick 246 is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
